I am a hard working, bright young designer with an eagerness to learn and a drive to produce high-quality work. My interests lie principally in typography, editorial design and corporate identity/branding. I am confident, organised and punctual. I have experience of freelance work and live briefs, aided by my ability to handle deadlines and my determination to succeed.

Design Skills
My key skills are; research, ideas, problem solving, ability to work with others (eg. designing alongside website developers), analytical skills and self-motivation.
I am a competent user of the Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). I have basic skills in Flash, Director and QuarkXpress and I am also proficient in Dreamweaver (and html programming). I am also fully familiar with MS Office.

Interpersonal Skills
Communication – I have excellent communication levels with people of all ages. My client-designer communication has been greatly improved by working on live briefs and freelance projects.
Language – I have a passion for learning languages. I speak French (up to A-Level) and am currently learning Spanish.
Organisation and presentation – I have been an active member in the student community throughout my time at University – being a student representative and setting up the DMU Graphic Design Society (Secretary/Vice Chair). As part of the Graphic Design Degree Show student publicity team I was responsible for contacting sponsors, inviting guests and organising examples of work from fourty students to display on a website.
