About Me

I am a Leicester based graduate, having just completed my BA(Hons) degree in Graphic Design at De Montfort University.

Throughout my course, I have gained knowledge of many areas of design, particularly specialising in typography, editorial design, branding/corporate identity and advertising.

Although I don't consider myself to be a conventionally 'arty' designer, I am incredibly creative and I really enjoy problem solving and idea development.

Outside of the world of graphic design, I love films, theatre, music, dining out and dining in (I'm enjoy cooking, I love experimenting with new flavours and ingredients). I am a keen badminton player and I love exercising at the gym. I have a passion for languages - I speak French (up to A-Level) and I am learning Spanish.
About My Work

I design logically and with great rigour. I enjoy working my way through the stages of my design process - research > idea development > finalising of ideas and presentation of outcomes.

My designs tend to be clean and professional, particularly when working on brands and corporate identities. I enjoy experimenting with type and creating imagery with words, which can particularly be seen in my typographic exploration of poems (see my Portfolio page).
